Advanced Placement United States History is a challenging two-semester course that áhas an issue-oriented approach to the study of history. áThe broad themes and issues that created a unique American experience will be explored in depth. áThis course is designed to introduce students to over-arching national traditions, and social and cultural values and beliefs, which are threaded throughout the nation's history. áExamination and analysis of significant events and individuals will be fundamental and ongoing to the exploration of the nation's past and it's influence through history to the present day.
